Well, we are known as having a flat tire travel curse. We are pleased to announce, that on this trip, we had no flats, but we did break wheel studs, have lug nuts loosen up 3 times, had some starting problems, and lost our trailer brakes. Then, our luck changed for the worse, and a motor home ran into us on the freeway, modifying the appearance and function of the trailer somewhat. See below:

After squabbling with the other drivers uncooperative insurance company, Allstate Insurance, which after this experience I would never want their product, as they did not at all act in the best interest of their insured, they finally declared it to be totaled - because it would take $17,600 to repair. We hope to replace it one day.
