The rules are simple. Talk to each other and have fun. That is number #1. 2#-This forum is for the purpose of discussing Fiberfab Avengers and Valkyries and related topics. Keep it all good natured. #3-Keep it family friendly. That means watch the language and the topics. #4-No spamming. We do not want to know were we can buy prescription drugs, meet singles, see naughty school girls or other things not related to these cars. If you never post, and list an unrelated website, you are a spammer. IMPORTANT NOTE: When you register, there is a section called preferrences. The first item there, allows you so choose whether or not to have your email displayed in the forum. We stongly recommend that you choose the default, and do not elect to have you email displayed. The reason for this is, that this website is mined for emails frequently by spambots, looking to find email addresses to add to mailing lists, If you would like to share your e-mail address with someone for some reason, we suggest either informing them in a private message or spell you email out like: yourname at yourdomain dot com. That should be enough, unless other problems develop. In that case, we will add more rules. Violation of the rules as currently established or amended in the future, is grounds for terminating your account, and banning you from the site, if necessary. Moderator avenger 0 0 No Posts Getting the most out of the forum In order to participate, you must register. I am sorry that it has to be that way, but it was done to prevent spamming. Upon registering, you must enter a valid e-mail address. A Validation reply will be sent to you, and if you follow the directions in that e-mail, your registration will be activated. This is done by the administrator, who has a life outside of this forum, so it can sometimes take a few days, usually, it is within 24 hours. Notice the yellow choices near the top of the page, below the title area. The one called FAQ will answer many of your questions. You should be able to figure most of it out. When you go into a general area, "Discussion of Avenger Specific Topics" for example, you can start a topic there, perhaps it might be called "Can I fit a new Porsche twin turbo 12 cylinder in my Avenger?" You would then give any details you might like to share about your dream project. Others, can then respond to that question in the topic you started, inside that topic, or, they can start another topic of their own, or, they may just want to browse all the topics and not post anything of their own. Scroll Page Down for forums Moderator avenger 0 0 No Posts Changes to the Forum Only a handful of people (less than 50) are legitimately register here as I write this. Looking through the topics, I can see that thee are many viewers, people who come and read the good information provided by the users of this site, but they do not participate, they do not contribute. When I started the Avenger-Valkyrie Website, I wanted to create a place, where interested people, could find the information they wanted and needed. That remains my philosophy. The website is still open for all to see. This user forum, where people can participate, is a lot more work than the rest of the website, I have been takng measures to make the tasks of maintaining it easier, but it does take too much of my time. When people visit this site, they use up resources here. There is plenty of good information on the regular part of the website, and that will remain open for all, and I hope to continue developing it further as time permits. The fact that the information on the website does not change or get updated often, means that it does not get visited repeatedly by the same people (those who have aleady read it all). This forum, however, because it is a dynamic thing, gets a lot of visits from lookyloos. As I said, my philosophy is one of sharing information, and anyone can visit the avenger-valkyrie.org website at any time, but I am going to reduce the bleed of resources through the forum itself. In the near future, or perhaps even as you read this, the subject material will no longer be visible to those who are not logged in. To log in, you must be registered. Registration is open to all with genuine interest, no charge, no requirements that you own one of these cars, no annoying and distracting ads like Yahoo and MSN forums, and the information here is sorted by topic, in easy to understand categorys, so that you do not have to wade through teious amounts of posts on things that you are not interested in, I hope you appreciate that distinction. So, if you actually have an interest in these cars and want to read the forums, sign in. If you are not registered, you cannot sign in. The only requirment for registration, is that you have an email address. The only requirment necesary for you to remain registered, is that you do not act in any way, that is outside the purpose of this forum, it is a place about cars and the people who love them. Could be professional, schooling, hobbies, family etc. what every you feel comfortable with. My primary reason for putting it here, is so you could talk about your car, your plans for a car, you abilities and knowledge. My hope is that these types of things will help build a sense of community and comradery in the other topic areas.
