Take one well seasoned kit car, wash thouroughly

Remove wimpy heart and other undesireable parts

Insert strong heart into body cavity, adding spice to taste

Mix well and enjoy!

In March of 1999, a friend asked me if I had any idea what sort of car looked like a GT40 but was built on a VW chassis. I said I might and asked why he was asking. He told me that in a small local junkyard, he saw one under a pick-up bed liner. So off I went to what I was pretty sure was an Avenger. It was, and after a bit of haggle, my uncle and I dragged this late model 3 piece car out from under the bed liner and ten plus years of branches and pine needles. Over the past 3 years my dad and I have rebuilt the car. Gone is that little 1300 VW and original transaxle. I have replaced it with a Supercharged Mazda 13b Rotary and a Pro-Street Transaxle. I have also replaced the molded upholstery and paint. She remains my work in progress that keeps me from winding up on the evening news.

Note: Rick Sold the car on eBay in Jun of 2005.
