

Tim has shared these pictures of his Valkyrie with us. The car is painted in White Imron, and wears BMW remote side mirrors. Tim's ride is powered by a 1967427 cubic inch Corvette (Chevy Rat) motor with a 4 bbl. Holley carb, cooled by a '62 Corvette radiator and twin electric fans.M/T block hugger headers can be seen below. Tim is the original owner the Valkyrie kit, which he has been building since 1966. The interior features a 3 tone brown interior, Grant steering wheel, Hurst shifter, Stewart Warner instrumentation and a Moroso tachometer. The Ansen Slot Mags, for those of you who weren't there or had too many chemical experiences, were a very popular wheel in the Late '60s and early '70s. The wheels are shod with Goodyear eagles, 8-1/2" front 10" rear.

The car has been assembled twice and disassembled three times. Tim is now, putting it back together again, and considers the car to be 85 % done.

Tim's car has a Corvair frontend with handmade backing plates fitted with Chevy S10 disc brakes. On the rear are Corvette trailing arms, half shafts, and discs. Corvette steering box with cut down drag link as per Fiberfab instructions.

Power is transmitted to the quick change 4 speed BMCD transaxle, throught the 11" borg warner superbrute clutch. You can see the coilover shocks, Supertrap SS 'mufflers', and RCI 15 gallon fuel cell . There is also a Jaz 8 gallon fuel cell up front.

Tim says the car get's many looks and people always ask "when will it be finished"? Tim's answer?
"What's the rush?"
