I was browsing through old e-mails and found one from Gary. It it he explained that he'd been smitten by the the kit car bug, and sent me a number of pictures of his work in progress. I must have been in a hurry that day, and totally forgot about his e-mail. Below are some of the pictures Gary sent, showing the body modifications he is doing. This car certainly deserves a page here, because I am sure it will be very nice when done, and it is interesting and instructive to watch the modification process. Once I get these pictures in place I will be contacting Gary to get a progress report, and hopefully, some updated pictures.
In the picture on the right, you can see where Gary cut the original bodywork and has a board in place to separate the cut portion to it's new position prior to reglassing and blending. build2.jpg (12718 bytes)

Below you can see Gary has reglassed the pieces and see the blend work.

Gary says he'd like to V8 the car, but has already bought a 110hp Corvair complete as a donor car. Time will tell. To be continued . . .  I hope!

This air dam is big enough to be effective.

The new 'nostrils' change the appearance a lot.

Is that a firewall - with an access cover? newframe1.jpg (55617 bytes)

Keep 'em coming Gary, looks like you are on your way to beautiful and unique GT.
