Rogers car  is titled as a 69 Ford GT40.  He is finished with rebuild on rear body work, going to modify the hood to the one down-turned air duct instead of the 2 wedge shapes. I have to redo the complete interior, but it does have full VDO Porsche gauges. Roger plans to paint it blue like Bud Shorts car but with the white dual center stripes and GT 40 stripe down the sides. His lofty goal is to beat the soon to be released Ford GT. Roger bought it used, in St Louis in terrible shape. He already has a new braking system, and distributor distributor. The car is now running, but clutch is weak. It is driveable and has tags and insurance now.

It has a Porsche 911 drivetrain with dual triple throat Weber carbs, 5 speed, 11" disks all around. It'll take a bit of elbow grease, but the Porsche is a nice looking mill when cleaned up. Good luck Roger, keep us updated.
