Recently I received the following e-mail from Scott with these pictures.

I check your site often. It's great. Anyway, my name is Scott Stephens and
this one is mine. I bought it on Ebay and had it delivered to Texas. When I
got it, it was a very oxidized gold color. Being that there were moths and
other bugs in the paint, I'm assuming it was painted outside and very
quickly. The interior was a heavy tufted gold velvet (no really). Very
"pimpy" to say the least. It has a VW1500 engine with type 3 front disk
brakes. It is and always will be a work in progress.

Looking through my old e-mails, I found one that Scott sent in July of 2002. There was a picture of an avenger which is gold in color, so I assume this these are the same car. I thought I'd but it here so you could see a before shot of Scott's car, and so you can see what one looks like in gold.
