O.K. Although I am still having some problems with the new server, I will begin migrating the website if February - and I will install the BBS software once that is complete. It will take be a while to customise and otherwise set up the BBS software, but I am optimistic that it will be operational in February or March at the latest. I had to remove the notification sign up page, as some spammers have figured out a way to exploit it to send me spam.

I do not know what to do but apologize. I still intend to restart the BBS. I have been busy as always, but aside from that, I have sort of put it off until I can learn my new website hosting enviroment (yes, I am the host of the webspace here as well as the webmaster). I have two servers, one that this site is on, and one that I would like it to be on. I am a little gun shy about the move. Last time I migrated to a new server, I lost the BBS. So I do not really want to restart the BBS until the site is running on the new server. When I am comfortable in the new server enviroment, I will make the move of this site. When I do, this site may disappear from the net for a day or two. I will give advance warning about that. My current hope, is to move the site before the end of October. I will have to relearn the BBS software, but possibly by the end of November, let's just say a new launch in the new year. 12:01 A.M. 1/1/2007 is my new goal.

Don't be too discouraged, my decision to rebuild the BBS still stands, but time is at a premium, just as it was before - stay tuned.

Well, the public feedback time period is over. This page was viewed 116 times, with 22 responses left. Considering that many of the visits recorded may have been repeat visits, that some visits were just passing through, I have some conclusions.
The first conclusion is that the site is not visited much. One reason for this is that most people have no idea what an Avenger or Valkyrie is. There are only a handful of people that have a genuine interest in these cars, so actually, I am impressed that the page had as many visits as it did. Twenty two individuals, took time to share their opinions about re-opening the BBS. All responses were for re-opening the BBS, and none expressed any negative concerns. Several had very nice things to say, and made compelling reasons for bringing it back. While these enthusiasts were persuasive, it was a couple of responses that convinced me. These two, reminded me that it is hard to find good info on these cars in one place, especially if you are new to these cars or do not own one yet. In the spirit of bringing an information storehouse to the interested, and a place to compare notes with others, see pictures, articles etc, all in one easily navigated site, I will bring back the BBS and am renewing my efforts to improve the site and add new content.
I have always solicited your contributions (literary not financial), but am asking you again to consider what you can do to help out, even sending in ideas is helpful. Thank you for your continued interest, and be watching in the weeks ahead for the grand re-opening. We are sorry, this feature is not currently available. For unknown reasons, this feature has been requested frequently lately, and the normal link to it, has been accessed often. Rest assured, that we are not unaware of the interest. Currently we lack the time resources to devote to re-establishing the BBS, but we are considering the problem. If we get an indication that the interest is high, we will find the time.
For those who do not know what the BBS was, it was our online forum where interested people could dialogue with each other. It was popular and had growing participation until we moved to a different web server, and it was lost. Our users varied from those who were just interested in cars in general, to those who were veteran kit car builders. Manufacturers also participated, it was a great source of information.
As to whether we will start it up again, we will decide soon, if this spike in interest is indicative of actual interest, and not some anomaly, we will definitely respond, for now, it shall remain off line. Expect to see our decision within a few weeks, whether to re-open, or to abandon the idea altogether, and remove all signs that it ever existed from this site.
